A lovely, vibrant blend of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. Aromas of ripe peach, melon and a touch of pink grapefruit. Zippy and refreshing.

Food pairings: seafood, poultry, vegetarian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

We must confess. The Drink Wine and Giggle Gals were attracted to Guilty Men because we have a thing for bad boys. Apparently the name is based on the conspiracy of grapes--Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio--that make up the wine. Malivoire is indeed guilty of producing a blended wine. We decided that of the four conspirators, Chardonnay is most guilty of abducting the character of Guilty Men. A guilty pleasure worth indulging in.
Winemaker's Notes
This unique VQA blend of 42% Merlot, 30% Pinot Noir and 28% Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested and de-stemmed to small, open top, batch tanks for traditional red wine fermentation. Oak aged for 9 months, the final blend was determined after careful deliberation and many blending trials. Bottled in June of 2010, the final blend contains 12.5% alcohol.
Crafted from 65% Riesling, 25% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Chardonnay, this VQA blended white wine was fermented separately in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to optimize fresh fruit aromas and flavours. The proportion of the three varieties was determined after careful deliberation and many blending trials. The final composition was bottled in June of 2010, at 12.5% alcohol.
