A lovely French bubbly made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. This vibrant sparkler from Burgundy offers aromas of freshly baked bread and white florals. Pair with shellfish and seafood.

Crémant de Bourgogne food pairings: raw oysters on the half shell with strawberry champagne mignonette, crab cakes with lemon aioli, steamed Matane shrimp with fresh lemon juice.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value for this French sparkler. Aromas of lemon, golden apple, white floral notes and a hint of fresh bread. Light, with bright effercescent bubbles, bright acidity and vibrant citrus hints. Enjoy with oysters or any other shellfish.
Louis Bouillot Perle d'Or Crémant de Bourgogne is a traditional method, dry bubble from the Burgundy wine region. Honeyed on the nose with almond nut and ginger spice. Dry and vibrant on the palate with a persistent mousse of nougat, ginger spice, ripe apple and lemon citrus zest flavours. A lovely, rich brut with a long vibrant finish. Chill and enjoy on its own or with seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
