Perry rated this wine as 83/100
Laplace (2013) is produced by Pierre Laplace, known for his deft handling and winemaking of the Tannat grape. From the Madiran in the Southwest of France, this robust, full-bodied French red wine is a blend of 80% Tannat and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon that was partially barrel aged. The wine is firm, tannic, smoky, dark red cherries cedar and toast on the palate. Pair with a juicy, beef steak done rare on the grill. Decant one to two hours prior to serving. - Community Wine Reviews
