Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A solid wine from a great year in France. Fully ripe is the key for me with the Tannat grape and this one delivers. Full rich palate with enough structure to keep it 4 to 5 years or serve now with a rare cut of red meat.
Produced by Pierre Laplace, Laplace 2015 is a full-bodied and grippy Madiran red blend of 80% Tannat and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon that was partially barrel aged. The wine is dry with earthy florals, mushrooms, ripe blackberry, blueberry and spicy flavours on the palate. Needs a grilled Tomahawk steak. - Community Wine Reviews
