Natalie's Score: 90/100

A savoury and full-bodied Chianti Classico from the Tuscany wine region and produced from mostly Sangiovese wine grapes with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wine spent six months in 5,000 litre casks before being transferred to French oak barriques for six more months. Fragrant with savoury herbs, dark berry and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Decant one hour prior to pouring with a well-marbled grilled rib steak.

Chianti Classico food pairings: prime rib steak done rare, lamb souvlaki, game burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Lamole di Lamole is a full-bodied, vibrant and elegant red wine blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. Ripe plum, red berry, mushroom and savoury herb aromas on the nose, mouth-coating and vibrant on the palate with a briny mineral finish. Complex and lovely. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
