The spectacular 2007 vintages of Viña Ardanza Reserva is drinking beautifully right now! This is a robust Spanish red wine blend of mostly Tempranillo grapes and 20% Garnacha. This winery was established in 1980 and is celebrating 125 vintages of winemaking. Aromas of tanned leather, violets, spice and dried fruit. Perfect for lamb in rosemary. Highly recommended.

Food pairings: rich lamb, beef stroganoff, barbecued ribs, fruit chutneys, cassoulet, steak fajitas.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This wine is mind-blowing, featuring lots of cherry, leather, herbs, beef jerky, tobacco and wood. Still so fresh and elegant. Pair with grilled lamb. 94 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
