Reviews and Ratings

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This was my weekend wine pick: a superb Chenin Blanc from South Africa. A sunny yellow colour in the glass. Aromas and flavours of citrus. Paired well with a shrimp paella. 14% alcohol. Beautiful classy label. Available at the SAQ (Code SAQ: 11093126) at $18. Certified Integrity & Sustainability.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely, tons of flavour and very well priced. Aromas of apricot, creamy lemon and chamomile, with a hint of honey. Full bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, creamy citrus and fruit hints and a touch of spice on the finish. Enjoy with creamy or rich seafood dishes.
Ken Forrester 2019 old-vines Chenin Blanc is an elegant white wine with wine grapes sourced from six different Stellenbosch vineyards. Wine grapes are hand-picked and sustainably farmed, with no herbicides or pesticides. The vines average 35 years of age. Look for fresh peach, apricot, pear and citrus zest flavours rich and smooth on the palate thank to some barrel fermentation and lees ageing. Pair with grill chicken and vegetable kebabs. - Community Wine Reviews
