Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Keinte winery of PEC produces a medium(-) body Pinot Noir using 100% Niagara grapes to craft this lovely red wine. This is a silky smooth wine with an intense nose of cherry, strawberry, coffee and earthiness. The palate presents medium(+) acidity, sweet spices, baked strawberry and some floral ( violets and lavender). Good quality/price ratio. very enjoyable. Excellent turkey wine.
Tasted: Sept 2015
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From the Niagara Peninsula, a Pinot Noir that does Ontario proud. Light clear garnet red and aromatic, with earthy forest floor, cedar, tart cherry, vanilla and mocha on the nose. The palate repeats with more pronounced mocha and milk chocolate. Mediumbodied and mouth-watering bright acidity, which makes it very versatile with food and a pleasure to drink on its own, too. Long spicy cherry finish. Excellent value. Put this on your Thanksgiving wine list, as Pinot Noir is a terrific match for turkey, game or duck.
Tasted September 2015.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby in colour, this Pinot Noir from Prince Edward County has flavours of red cherry and raspberry, with delicate cinnamon and earthy complexity. The finish is soft and refreshing.
Pair with gourmet pizza or Marsala veal chops.
Serve slightly chilled.
Drink now or keep until 2017.
Date tasted: September 2015.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Smoky dark berries, cherry, herbs, vanilla, and spice on the nose and palate. A fantastic Pinot from PEC winery Keint-He, using Niagara fruit. Medium bodied and pleasantly robust, this would be an ideal candidate for fall harvest meals. Tasted September 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
