Natalie's Score: 89/100

From the Alsace wine region, Joseph Cattin 2019 Pinot Gris is enticingly fragrant with fresh stone fruit, ripe pear, ginger spice, flinty and smoky aromas on the nose; on the palate, the wine is barely dry, medium-plus-bodied, silky and vibrant with apricot, peach, poached pear, smoky, flinty and ginger spice flavours with a long finish. So good now and excellent value under $16. Chill and enjoy with a juicy roast pork and all the trimmings. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2020 Concours International de Lyon.

Pinot Gris food pairings: sweet red Thai curry, chicken à l’orange, rich cheese, seafood, light pastas.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
