Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Jackson -Triggs' 2020 Grand Reserve White Meritage is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, producing an outstanding wine with great flavour, texture, and harmony. The nose showcases sweet Sauvignon Blanc characteristics with lemon grass, ripe tropical and stone fruit, floral blossom and flinty minerality, while the palate delivers a creamy albeit refreshing finish highlighting the barrel-aged Semillon. A fantastic wine that's perfectly suited for a wide range of food pairings from autumn meals, spicy fare, soft cheese, creamy pasta, or on its own. Enjoy 2021-2025. Tasted October 2021. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely, bright and refreshing. This white meritage is primarily Sauvignon Blanc blended with Semillon, and the result has aromas of fresh lemon, green herbs, and hints of fresh cut grass. Light bodied with vibrant acidity, fresh green and citrus notes on the palate and a crisp, clean finish. Enjoy with any shellfish.
