Classic Niagara Baco Noir from the province's best producer of this varietal, Henry of Pelham. Aromas of fleshy ripe purple and black plums with smoke on the finish. Pair with grilled meats.

Baco Noir food pairings: aged cheddar, game meats, beef with horseradish or mustard, spicy food or the startling yet remarkably harmonious pairing of strawberries with black berry.

Reviews and Ratings

Darren Glowacki rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark in colour and rich in taste, Henry of Pelham knows how to do Baco Noir. Bang for your buck - this is the best Baco produced in the Niagara region. This is a great wine to sip standalone but goes great with bbq meats. Great valued wine - a real winner.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep purple and ruby in color. Lots of blueberry, blackberries, currants on the nose. The palate doesn't disappoint with lots of blueberries, blackberries, pure dark chocolate and hint of cinnamon. The finish leaves a lingering flavor of vanilla and chocolate. Great value!
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby, with a dark berry, peppery, toasty nise. Full body, a little sour edged with tart acidity and nearly off dry sweetness along with cherry, berry fruit with some spice. Try with grilled meats.
Tasted Oct 2015.
