A gorgeous deep violet hue in the glass, with aromas of fleshy ripe blackberry, dark cherry and smoke. Full-bodied, and smooth. Pair with a grilled steak and good friends.

Baco Noir food pairings: aged cheddar, game meats, beef with horseradish or mustard, spicy food or the startling yet remarkably harmonious pairing of strawberries with black berry.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Sweet rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A full bodied smooth jammy red wine. Hints of dark fruit including plum, and blackberries. Goes well with ham, red meat, and turkey. Serve with aged cheese.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blueberry, blackberries, and dark cherry, with a hint of leather. Smoky on the palate with lots of dark fruit. Enjoy with grilled ribs.
Meg Charette - WSET ADV rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

A medium bodied, medium sweet wine. Beautiful dominating notes of juicy blueberry, blackberry and black cherry cola. Found on the nose and palate are also hints of vanilla, and smoked baking spices; nutmeg and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is lusciously rich and slightly grippy with soft silky tannins. Long finish of rich, juicy blueberry.
