Henry Of Pelham Estate 2019 is a vibrant and elegant, medium-plus-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot red wine blend lush with layers of blueberry, cassis, dark chocolate, dried sweet tobacco, bell pepper and baking spice flavours long and silky on the palate. Yields are kept low to two-to-three tonnes per acre to concentrate the flavours of the remaining grapes. Tannins are grippy. Decant one hour prior to pouring with a juicy ribeye steak from the grill, or cellar for three-to-five years as the wine will continue to evolve in bottle.

Cabernet Merlot food pairings: beef, pork, lamb roast with grilled vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

A vibrant, elegant and flavoursome Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot red wine blend from an iconic producer. Dry, full-bodied and concentrated on the palate with ripe plum, raspberry, blueberry, cassis, bell pepper, pepper and baking spice flavours brilliant on the palate. Grape yields are kept low to two-to-three tonnes per acre to concentrate the flavours of the remaining grapes. Tannins are grippy. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
