Tart cherries with some medicinal notes on the nose. Mouth-watering acidity on the palate, medium-bodied and smooth. Pair with planked salmon. The Silver Line is the flagship lineup for the G. Marquis label. It finishes with attractive strawberry and raspberry notes. Perfect for planked salmon or seared tuna.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled tuna steak, chicken cacciatore, pasta.

Reviews and Ratings

Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

G Marquis' Silver Line Pinot Noir is the second of three "Gail's Picks" as the Drink Wine and GIggle Gals followed the trail of Gail's red stickies at the local LCBO. With its regal ruby hue and bright fruitiness, this wine totally rocked our salmon and rapini and offers great value for the price point. G Marquis is a Magnotta property off Highway 55 if you're in the Niagara region and a drive thru Tim Hortons just won't do it for you. The G Marquis brand is categorized in "lines" like cruise ships in blue, red and silver. We imagine blue is Carnival--fun ride, but watch the plumbing--red is Royal Caribbean--will get you where you're going but don't look too closely at the carpet--and silver is Silverseas--for when you feel like something more luxurious.
