Love this cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc from the Aconcagua Costa wine region. Fragrant with fresh herbs, green peas, lime and fresh melon aromas on the nose. Dry, medium-bodied with fresh herbs, mouth-filling lemon-lime zest and a lingering briny mineral finish. Good now, better in 2021.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: steamed lobster with melted butter, roast chicken stuffed with spinach and pepper jack, pasta in an Alfredo sauce, grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

From Errázuriz, Aconcagua Costa 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is a cool-climate SB with wine grapes hand-harvested early in the morning, transported to the winery where they are destemmed, crushed and press to preserve fruit freshness and acidity. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on its lees for three months for added finesse, structure and depth of flavours. Wine grapes are sourced from the high-altitude Manzanar vineyard not 10 minutes from the ocean. Look for juicy, mouth-coating grapefruit, white nectarine and fine herb flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
