Emiliana Coyam 2014 is a full-bodied red blend of Syrah, Carmenère, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Malbec and Petit Verdot grapes. So well-blended, structured and very approachable now, but could hold in cellar for several years.

Food pairings: roast leg of venison with sautéed mushrooms and sweet onions, roast pheasant, fried wild rabbit on toast.

Reviews and Ratings

Peter Neilson rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I found this a very pleasant, balanced, and ejoyable wine. Good enough for tasting in its own, or with a hearty meal. Would probably continue to improve for snother 2-3 years. We opened it an hour before we drank it. I received it as a hift. Will biy some more. ??
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From the mythical Colchagua Valley in Chile, the Coyam 2014 is crafted from 45% Syrah, 35% Carmenere, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Mourvedre, 4% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdo. The Coyam shows a classy, deep ruby color and deep aromas of dark plum, fruitcake, lavender, black pepper, leather, cured meat, espresso and oak, and displays a full body with a long and fruity finish. The six grapes blend marvellously well and provide well knit tannins and spice. The palate develops in to ripe plum, black currant, black pepper, vanilla, sweet tobacco and oak. Enjoy!
From Los Robles Estate, Emiliana Coyam 2014 is a full-bodied red blend of 48% Syrah, 24% Carmenère, 11% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Mourvèdre and 3% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot grapes (did we miss any red wine grapes?) sourced from the Colchagua Valley and one of Chile's greatest reds. So well-blended, structured and very approachable now, but could hold in cellar for several years. - Community Wine Reviews
