Coyam is a medium-plus-bodied red blend of Syrah, Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, Malbec, Mourvèdre and Petit Verdot from Los Robles Estate. Lovely fresh plum, florals, smoked meat, pepper and ripe dark berries on the palate with a lingering mocha and vanilla finish. Enjoy with grilled meats.

Food pairings: roast leg of venison with sautéed mushrooms and sweet onions, roast pheasant, fried wild rabbit on toast.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Coyam 2015 is made with passion by the Banfi Estate in Chile, one of the leading wineries in organic and biodynamic in wine-making. Crafted from an amazing blend of 44% Syrah, 30% Carmenere, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Mourvedre, 4% Malbec, 2% Garnacha, 2% Tempranillo and 2% Petit Verdo, this wine delivers succulent aromas of black cherry, fruitcake, black pepper, cured meat, leather, expresso, cigar box and oak. Full-bodied, the wine shows a lovely balance and an elegant finish. Chilean wine lovers will be pleased by flavors of cherry, blackberry jam, lavender, tobacco leaf, milk chocolate, smoke and oak. Enjoy!

Dark ripe fruit, herbs, leather and mocha flavours and a lingering spicy and pepper finish. Pair wit grilled lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews
