Reviews and Ratings

Claymore owner Dr. Anura Nitchingham has a deep connection to the popular music of the 1970s and ’80s from his years living in Liverpool and then London, while completing his medical studies. The Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz pays homage to Pink Floyd and, like the album, it’s a classic. Full-bodied with layers of concentrated black fruit flavours, sweet oak and peppery spice notes, it’s a brooding Shiraz to pair, or, if you must, pour the wine, dim the lights, plug in the lava lamp and put on your headphones. Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
