This towering Chilean red wine is a real conversation starter! Full-bodied and smooth with black plum, blackberry and mocha aromas. Nice balance. Great for barbecues. It's mostly (97%) Cabernet Sauvignon, with about 3% Cabernet Franc grapes. Great structure and balance with a long, smoldering finish that will leave you longing for more. Try it with prime rib.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Elegant and complex, dark fruit, plum, cigar box, vanilla, black pepper, and cloves round out the firm structure in this refreshing wine on the long, warming finish.
Pair with finer cuts of beef or savour on its own.
Drink now, or cellar until 2018.
Date tasted: October 2014.
