Torrontés food pairings: spicy dishes and curries, salads, seafood, shellfish, vegetarian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Torrontés from Argentina's Colchagua Valley has a floral, nutty nose and a palate that shows distinctive florality with a touch of lemon. Crisp, dry mouthfeel and a long floral finish. Wonderful with East Indian chicken curries.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Crisp, refreshing, exactly what Argentina's flagship native white grape is known for. Refreshing sweet citrus notes, with great white grapefruit tartness that makes this a terrific wine to enjoy with flavourfl ethinc foods. Tasted June 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves- www.quercusvino.ca
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Floral, peach and citrus notes with a palate that has that never ending zippy grapefruit sprinkled with lemon and lime zest, floral finish - perfect to enjoy your favorite Thai dish!
Torrontes, Argentina's best-known white grape, reaches its most poignant expression in high altitude vineyards planted at 1700 to 3100 metres above sea level which creates a unique micro-climate. Bring on the Thai cuisine please! - Community Wine Reviews
