This robust, full-bodied and dry Californian Cabernet is part of Clayhouse's Vineyard Series. Wine grapes were harvested from the Red Cedar Vineyard and the wine was matured 16 months in a combination of American, French and other European oak barrels giving toasty oak spice and smoky coffee notes to go along with bright and juicy dark berry flavours in this California Cab. The winery is 90% solar powered and Clayhouse is certified by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance. Pair with grilled steaks.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: veal chops, rosemary lamb, barbecued ribs in sauce, strong cheese.
