Natalie's Score: 92/100 A classic Bordeaux that superbly balanced and elegant. The 2010 vintage was a spectacular one for Bordeaux, so this is bargain-priced for that quality. Snap it up! Aromas of blackcurrant, cassis and smoke. Great cellar candidate though it's drinking well now. Nice finish. Great with steak.

Alexandre Craig DWS, FWS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review: In 2000, 2005 and 2010, even the lesser-known appellations in Bordeaux were producing blockbuster wines. This one is no different, with ripe aromas of sweet red cherry and black raspberry liqueur combine with toasty oak and powerful, albeit still grippy tannins. The 14.5% alcohol is surprisingly well-balanced by the structure and concentration of the wine. Drink this in a few years.

This is a value find yielding from a 15th century Bordeaux vineyard from Appellation Montagne Saint-Emillion Controllee and labelled as 14.5% ABV. Decanted for several hours revealing deeply concentrated primary aromatics of dark chocolate, ripe fig, anise, blackberry and secondary notes of dried prune, dried thyme, and a hint of lavender and vanilla. This wine is almost completely Merlot varietal grown on a chalky clay hillside. This wine is elegant, well integrated, and very well balanced with a Juicy, mouthwatering, dry essence featuring medium plus tannins, medium acidity, medium plus fruit. Pairing with AAA angus roast beef, vegan roasted beet couscous, vegetarian roasted vegetable chickpea salad or roast chicken with fig compote. Enjoy 2015-2022 based on your preference for tannic presence.

Vanilla, dark cherry, raspberry and ripe blackberry on the nose with some earthy and tobacco notes. Flavours of dark cherry, blackberry and raspberry. High acidity with medium tannins. This wine is hot, and at 14.5 per cent you can really taste the lingering alcohol.
The 2010 vintage of this Bordeaux red wine is almost all Merlot grapes, with a dash of Cabernet Sauvignon -- very typical for Right Bank wines from St. Émilion. The vineyard of Chateau Teyssier dates back to the fifteenth century. It is composed mostly of chalky clay hilly soils a few kilometres north-east of St. Émilion. - Community Wine Reviews
