Fresh black plum, dark berry, sweet tobacco and vanilla/mocha flavours on this 2016 vintage Chateau St. Jean 2016. This is a full-bodied, earthy and dry Cabernet Sauvignon from California. Margo Van Staaveren became winemaker and general manager for Chateau St. Jean in August of 2003 and this silky Cab has only become better. Enjoy now with a meat lover's pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef brisket, gourmet burgers, rich meat-based pasta dish.

Lots going on with this aromatic and affordable Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas include currant, tobacco, mint, and mocha. Full bodied, with a nice blend of fruit, tobacco and spice on the palate with a medium+ finish. Enjoy with prime rib or beef stew.
