Reviews and Ratings

Dave rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very nice
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark fruit and smoke, with a little cinnamon and mint. The taste is big and dark and the tannins are fine but quite grippy. Pairs nicely with Italian sausage and cheddar.
The southern French red wine is a blend of 80% Tannat and 20% Cabernet Franc grapes. The vines are planted in extremely rocky soils as Gascony itself means "rocky location." Vieilles Vignes means old vines. The vineyards are nestled on the southern limit of the Madiran region. The Château Peyros winery produces well-structured, tannic red wines that are cellar-worthy. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
