A juicy, savoury rose from southern France and the heart of rose country: Provence. Bone dry and light-bodied, this is a lovely blend of Syrah, Cinsault and Grenache Noir grapes. Aromas of clementine, dried herbs and strawberry. Pair with grilled chicken or veggies.

Rosé food pairings: charcuterie and cheese plate, roast maple smoked ham, green salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Quintessential Cotes de Provence Pink, and in a lovely bottle perfect as a summer hostess gift.
Heady aromas of white flowers and grapefruit, with the citrus carrying through to the palate and a zippy fresh lime finish.
Great with a goat cheese and pine nut salad.
Tasted June 2018.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 3rd, 2018. Medium pale pink. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours of oranges,(me) grapefruit (per the wife) notes of strawberry, ripe peach, exotic fruits. Description on the bottle seems accurate. Taste dry, crisp, flavourful and mouthwatering, medium minus mouthfeel. Finishes with nice citrus and orange peel.
Easy drinking with food. I had a haddock fish burger, soft Texas style bun, smothered with home made romoulade. The fish was put in a egg bath and then rolled in seasoned (Cerulean Seas) panko crumbs. Fried crisp in olive oil. The wine can handle the fried fish and the romoulade. I felt the wine tasted better after getting all those flavours in my mouth. The bottle disappeared quickly. I will buy this again, good value. I would love to try it with a nice roast chicken seasoned with Herbes De Provence.
Château De Berne Terres De Berne 2017 is an elegant Côtes De Provence rosé blend of Syrah, Cinsault and Grenache Noir. Lots of food-friendly acidity on this zesty rosé with ripe cherry, red berry and savoury flavours on the palate. Pair with lemon and herbed grilled chicken breasts. - Community Wine Reviews
