Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delicate pale peach colour with strawberry and garrique aromas. Made from Grenache 50%, Cinsault 50%. Crisp and dry, with strawberry, lavender, licorice and garrique palate and garrique finish. Distinctive square bottle. Very refreshing - serve with savoury appetizers, such as black olive tapenade and goat cheese.
Tasted May 2017
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beautiful bottle for the table (hey visual pleasures are as legitimate as all the others!!). As the colour indicates a subtler style rose. Floral, subtle strawberry flavours. Get your French rose now as the LCBO ran out of them in 2016.
From the Côtes De Provence, Château De Berne Terres De Berne (2016) is a rosé wine from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes sourced from chalky soils and south-facing vineyards in the heart of Provence. Serve this rosé with a deli platter or warmed goat cheese and cherry compote on baguette. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
