Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Red fruit and oak aromas with blackberry and a touch of bell pepper on the palate.
Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Smooth, rich and plummy with a tea leaf note on the nose and palate.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Argadens is deep, almost opaque in colour. The same intensity is apparent on the nose, which, although still young, reveals great complexity of red and berry fruits and heady oak aromas which lift the nose rather than dominate it. The palate is balanced and well-structured with a fine, elegant finish of great length. In short, everything that one would expect of a top quality Bordeaux.

Produced by the Sichel Family (Maison Sichel), and also the creators of the coveted Château Palmer, this family has been making wine in Bordeaux since 1883, for six generations. They purchased this winery in 2002 and renamed it Château Argadens to recognize the name of the family that founded the estate in the 13th century. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
