Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely balance, great value. Aromas of golden apple, lemon and hazelnut. Medium bodied, fresh and bright on the palate with subtle oak and bright fruit flavours. Hints of warm spice and some tangy citrus on the finish. Enjoy with a shrimp boil complete with corn, sausage and potatoes.
From the Western Cape wine region, Cathedral Cellar 2019 Chardonnay is produced by winemaker, Wim Truter. Love the nutty, buttery, lime-lemon zest nose on this warm Chardonnay. Dry, vibrant and smooth on the palate with citrus curd, tropical fruit, apple, vanilla and toasty oak spice smooth and long on the palate. Pour with buttered lobster rolls. - Community Wine Reviews
