Vintages Wine Panel: Plentiful aromas here, such as cantaloupe, toast, tropical fruit (banana, pineapple and coconut), spice and lemon meringue pie. Dry with lots of everything going on, but it all works extremely well. Full bodied, with ripe fruit, toasty oak and bright acidity in almost perfect harmony. Long finish. Cellar 3-5 years or enjoy tonight with rich seafood dishes. My note: Love it! Rich and layered with hazelnuts, smoke and almonds. Green apple notes shine through then there’s a lime zest finish.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster, crab, seafood dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Corinna Horton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Spicy, acidic, tropical - this is a chardonnay that has a lot going on. I'm not much of chardonnay lover, but I love this one. Gorgeous finish, long and slow. The tasting notes we read mentioned cantaloupe: try as we might we never hit that cantaloupe... by the fourth bottle we kind of forgot what we were tasting for. What can I say, you can take the girl out of BC but you can't get her to put down the wine.
