Reviews and Ratings

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Garnacha is the same grape known as Grenache in the Southern Rhone in France. If you haven't tried the bold Spanish take on this grape, you should. In the Rhone, it produces a medium bodied wine with red fruits, but here in the hot Campo de Borja region in Spain, it produces a full bodied style without being overly tannic. With that big body comes intense black and red fruits combined with orange peel, menthol, smoke, leather, and vanilla spice. Those big flavours need an equally big pairing. I'm thinking an oven braise of beef or pork with olives, tomatoes, and garlic.

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Excellent wine for any occasion, the Tres Picos 2018 offers delicious aromas and appetizing fruit sip after sip. Made by Borsao Bodegas, located in Borja, Spain, the wine reveals scents of maraschino cherry, dried strawberry, black tea, black pepper, leather and vanilla. Full-bodied, this Garnacha (Grenache) blend exposes fresh acidity, young tannins and a dried fruit finish. Palate: Cherry, fig, black pepper, leather, vanilla and pie crust. Enjoy!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
