Natalie's Score: 93/100

Quantum 2015 is a robust Californian red wine blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petite Sirah, 4% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec and is still a greater sum of its parts. Lots of dark, ripe red cherry, red plum, dark chocolate, leather, grilled herbs, pepper spice wrapped up in a whiff of smoke on the palate. Incredible complexity on this wine from Beringer with layers of ripe rich fruit and soft tannins. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years. Pair with a prime rib.

Food pairings: pork sausage casserole, roast chicken, grilled rib eye steak.
