Beautiful richness and complexity in this robust, velvet smooth Australian red wine. This is a traditional GSM blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mouvedre, with each grape contributing different aromas and textural elements. Highly recommended.

Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Another amazing wine from this winery, I picked this winery's Shiraz as my favorite of the Super Tasting Sunday, but in fact I like this one better. I am a sucker for a GSM blend, and this one is no exception. The aromas alone are intoxicating with very intense berry aromas, vanilla, granite, mint. The taste is pure and rich fruit, great acidity, and long finish that shows the vanilla from the oak. Delicious.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Can you be powerful yet elegant? This lovely GSM is just that! There's a rich concentration of stewed red and black fruit up front followed by sweet spices, toast, cedar, and bramble. The acidity is bright and balances the fruit component brilliantly. This red wine blend is dry with a velvety smooth finish. There's lots to love about this wine for $25. Easter lamb or a fine cut of beef would compliment this beauty.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A rich variety of aromas of tart cherry, plum, cocoa, smoke, cedar, and blueberry, all in a nice balance. The taste is tart, silky fruit, tending towards the cherry and plum, with a nice spicy aspect as well. Some fine grippy tannins and a tart, spicy finish. I'd love this wine with rare roast beef.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

What a great GSM blend! (Grenache 45%, Shiraz 41%, Mourvèdre 14%) Australia is know for big reds and this is no exception. A juicy wine that delivers - balanced tannins and acidity with a lingering finish of fruit and some heat. Smooth but enough tannins to stand up to a rare piece of beef or pair it with a pungent blue cheese.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delicious, smooth yet robust. This blend has a full ripe fruit and pepper aromas, and some toasty oak. Similar flavours on the palate. Medium tannin and balanced acidity. Would complement a steak nicely. Enjoy!
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delieghtful Australian GSM with aromas of plum, black cherry, blackberry, raspberry baking spice, cedar, mint. Flavours of ripe fruit including plum, blackberry and raspberry along with baking spices. Full bodied with balanced acidity and tannins. This wine can bee joyed on its own, with a steak or a nice juicy hamburger.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas of both red and black food jump from glass to nose. A spice bomb in the mouth with smoke and fruit. A nice long smooth finish. Clean and refreshing.

Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This has all the rich, ripe fruit one has grown to expect from Australia, with a seam of crispness to keep it fresh. Purity of berry fruit, plus a white pepper note.
