This is an exceptional value Pinot Noir at 13.5% ABV and shows ruby red. This wine offers dense aromatics of red fruit, cherry, purple violet, hint of bell pepper this wine shows well with New Zealand lamb chops or herb basted roasted chicken breasts. Enjoy 2016-2020. Tasted Jan 2016.

The Concha Y Toro Marques De Casa Concha Pinot Noir 2013 is a great bottle under $20. Cherry, red berry fruit, spice and slight smokiness. A nice long cherry finish. Tasted January 31, 2016 (89/100)

Cherry, leather and earth through and through although the alcohol and acidity take over a bit on the palate. Decent pinot at this price. Try it with a tomato-based chicken dish.

Aromas of earth, mocha, leather, and dark cherries. The taste is bigger than a typical Pinot Noir, with lots of cherry and vanilla, and that coffee aspect that keeps coming through.

Light ruby and clean. The nose is dominated by smoke and barrel characteristics. Fruit is subtle and comes out more on the palate with cherry and vanilla tones. A medium finish with medium to high acidity.
Terry Jeans rated this wine as
90/100 with the following review:
A very pleasant nose of dark cherries, cedar, blackberries and smoke. An elegant taste of ripe cherries, currant, cedar with soft tannins and medium acidity. A nice example of pinot noirs coming from South America that can be quite delicious and very value driven. I would drink this with a pork tenderloin done on the bbq.

Despite the nose, it’s actually pretty good …
Presentation: Old-world style label, but it looks like it could be on a cigar box.
Appearance: Light-medium ruby
Nose: Like popcorn (toasted oak, vanilla) and exhaust pipe (petrol), with some plum
Taste: Popcorn, sour cherries, plums, earth, leather.
Finish: Long, sour cherries, popcorn.
Overall impression: Interesting. Worth trying again with a hearty chicken, pork or vegetable dish
Value: 3.5 out of 5
