Big, intense, full bodied Australian Shiraz. Aromas and flavours of chocolate, blackberry jam, mint and smoke. Signature white pepper noted on the finish. Excellent paired with strong flavoured hard cheese- think very old cheddar. Tasted Dec 2017

Aromas of blackberries, India ink, vanilla and candied cherries, and baking spices. The taste is blackberry, vanilla, and raspberry. Quite smooth in the mouth with a medium-long cherry finish with a touch of spice.

Deep ruby, a little jammy on the nose with stewed fruit, dark cherry, vanillia and oak spice. Medium full bodied, sweet ripe blackberry and some dried herb, juicy acidity, soft tannins and a medium length finish.

Mitolo Jester Shiraz 2012, South Australia, Australia: Bacon and campfire smoke on the nose of this big Australian red wine from oak aging. It's made from the country's flagship red wine grape Shiraz. Richard Tarlan was a favourite among the jesters to the Queen Elizabeth I and was the first to achieve national celebrity status. This wine is named in his honour, but it's no joke. Pair with lamb cutlets. Drink: 2014-2018. 659607 15% D 750 mL $21.95 Score: 90/100. February 9, 2017 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review
