Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Nov 15, 2013: Deep ruby with blackberry, raspberry and smoked paprika, sage, coffee and oak spice on the nose. Palate reveals ripe berry fruit, plum, cherry, smokey/toasty oak and dried herb notes. Good balance of fruit, acid and tannins, with a long berry, smokey finish with a bit of a bitter weedy green note. A little heavy on the oak char for some perhaps, and lacking some elegance. Best with burgers or BBQ meats over the next couple of years.
Darlene Myers rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

I shared this wine with friends, and we all agreed it was spectacular. When I brought the glass to my nose, the first smell that hit me was the aroma of smoke. On the palate it was a kaleidoscope of flavours that included cherries, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and a smokey oak taste. The Old Vine Zinfandel is the most popular in California, and this wine is all the reasons why. Vines are usually 30 to 40 years old for it to be considered old vine, and creates a more intense wine. I whole-heartedly recommend this wine.
Alyssa Wright rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Tastes like smokey mozzarella - mmmmm

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
