Full-bodied, lusciously mouth-filling and tasty, especially for the price. Aromas of toasty oak, green apple and white peach on the nose and palate. This is a chardonnay that will please many palates and pair well with a wide range of dishes. Long finish.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, lobster dipper in melted butter, corn dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I have been on a bit of a Chardonnay kick recently, as I find it so food friendly and refreshing. This Sterling Chardonnay out of California is a beautiful wine at a great price. Citrus and peach combine with a spicy vanilla oak for a Chardonnay I am looking forward to enjoying again.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Summertime and the Chardonnay keeps coming. Nice California Chardonnay from the makers of one of my favourite Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium bodied with citrus, peach, apple, vanilla and oak on the nose. The palate offers honey and spice. A little heat rounds out the finish. Food friendly and wallet friendly. Win-Win!
Lesley Quinn - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

With a great balance of lemon, lime, and nutmeg this Chardonnay does a great job of straddling the line between old world Chardonnay's with their bracing acidity and new world Chardonnay's with their oaked butter flavour. What you end up with is a Chardonnay that is perfect for a traditional east coast feast of oysters and lobsters.
