Natalie's Score: 90/100

A full-bodied, rich red with aromas and flavours black plum, pepper and dark spices on the finish. This muscular wine will elbow its way in beside a rare steak or prime rib. It's strong, but not overpowering like the ideal dinner companion conversation.

Malbec food pairings: pepperoni pizza, radicchio, lamb cutlets, beef tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Travis Oke rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Very dark and inky - nose of plum - the taste is rounded and soft, plummy. Unfortunately I've never been drawn to that combination of flavours and aromas. It seems well made [nothing offensive or alarming] but I've never warmed to Malbec. Still haven't I guess
This full-bodied red wine is made from grapes grown in La Consulta, Vista Flores and Agrelo and 70% of the wine was matured in oak barrels. Source: Winery
