Wolf Blass Grey Label 2018 Shiraz is a full-bodied, concentrated mouthful of blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, anise, cracked pepper, cedar spice and gravelly mineral flavours finishing velvety and supple on the palate. This is such a beautiful, plushy Shiraz from a good vintage. Produced by winemaker, Marie Clay.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Beautiful! Balanced, nuanced, and flavourful. Aromas of blueberry, cherry and blackberry, with notes of cocoa, black pepper and warm herbs. Full bodied, plush and smooth on the palate with soft tannins, and bright acidity. Fruit flavours are rich and intense, mingling nicely with peppery spice and a stony minerality. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
From the McLaren Vale wine region, Wolf Blass Grey Label 2018 Shiraz is dry, medium-bodied and plushy with ripe dark berry, dark cherry, chocolate, cedar brush and flinty, stony flavours with velvety tannins from beginning to end. A good cellaring candidate, but also very approachable now. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
