Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Butterscotch, nutty, citrus and stone fruit aromas were on full display in this chardonnay from Australia’s Clare Valley. If these aromas entice you, you will enjoy this wine. The palate’s texture featured nutty notes framed with nuances of citrus and stone fruit. A long finish capped the performance. Enjoy.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely and bright Chardonnay with aromas of crisp green apple, pineapple, melon and white peach. Medium bodied, with medium+ acidity on the palate with mouthwatering citrus and rich orchard fruit. Enjoy with rich seafood dishes.
From the Clare Valley, South Australia, Wakefield's Clare Valley Estate 2018 is a well-priced, full-bodied Chardonnay toasty and creamy with fresh green apple, ripe pear, tropical fruit, lemon meringue and nutty flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled lobster tails for the BBQ. - Community Wine Reviews
