Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a consistently great value Chardonnay every vintage. Aromas of crisp golden apple, pineapple, pear and white peach. Medium bodied, with medium+ acidity on the palate with mouthwatering zesty lemon and rich orchard fruit. Great balance overall. Enjoy with white fish such as sole or halibut.
Wakefield's Clare Valley Estate 2019 Chardonnay is a consistently great value Chardonnay. Rich on the nose with aromas of ripe gold apple, tropical fruit and white-fleshed stone fruit, the wine is dry, full-bodied and vibrant with baked apple pie, baking spice, caramel, lemon curd and notes of tropical fruit flavours balanced with lip-smacking acidity. Chill and enjoy with buttered lobster rolls. - Community Wine Reviews
