Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice effort with medium weight, medium power of flavours, the Cabernet (Franc?) portion is fully ripe. Lovely value.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Black pepper, blueberry, bourbon barrel and bell pepper. Very peppery on the palate, ending with burnt toffee.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blueberry, blackberry, green bell pepper, and baking spices. The flavour is cherry and plum, with a touch of the green-ness coming through. The tannins and acidity are both in the medium range, and suit it quite nicely. A great burger wine.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 78/100 with the following review:

A little on the aggressive side…
Presentation: Busy, bold tattoo parlour
Appearance: Light-medium ruby red
Nose: Grass, green spice
Taste: Green, spicy, tannic, somewhat aggressive
Finish: A tannic finish that falls quickly and leaves the alcohol
Overall impression: An aggressive blend that needs strong tasting food.
Value: 3/5
