This Chianti Classico Riserva is fragrant with ripe red berry fruit, balsamic and sweet spice. Dry and juicy on the palate with ripe red and dark berry, earthy florals and mushroom flavours on the palate. Tannins are supple. Piero Antinori, whose family has been making wine for 26 generations, produces this Riserva produced from the Pèppoli, Badia a Passignagno and Tignanello estates.

Chianti Classico food pairings: grilled meats, meat pasta, lamb stew.

Reviews and Ratings

Villa Antinori 2015 is a Chianti Classico red wine blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot produced by Marchesi Antinori. Antinori has been in the wine business since 1385 – that’s 26 generations – and you can taste the tradition and authenticity in their wines, as well as the quality of their honest work. Ripe cherry, red berries, spicy plum, sweet dried tobacco leaf and earthy truffle flavours can be found on this vintage. Good now, but better with a few years ageing in cellar. - Community Wine Reviews
