Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A Cab Sauv from Mendoza, Argentina. Garnet red with a mild strawberry nose. The palate reveals ripe strawberries, cherries, red currants, mint, dill, vegetal green pepper, vanilla and pepper. it's dry with a slightly tannic mouthfeel and a long red fruit finish.
For 150 years, Luis Segundo Correas has been making wine in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Today, it's the fourth generation of the family who makes wine. This is 100% cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the vineyards of the Estate Dona Ofelia, Medrano and Mendoza. The wine was aged for 10 months in French oak and 6 months in the bottle. - Community Wine Reviews
