Reviews and Ratings

Stephanie rated this wine as 87/100
Jay Denney rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Pretty standard Ripasso, which is not really a great thing because I have found Tommasi usually stands out next to the Masis and Folnaris, but not this vintage.

To quote from a movie "Quaffable, but far from transcendent." I much preferred the Zonin which is $5 cheaper.
Bragi rated this wine as 65/100
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Dec. 24, 2017 . Colour dark red. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours, morello cherry, cranberry, red licorice, note barbecue smoke. Taste, dry, medium fruit, mouthfeel and mouthwatering. Soft tannin. Finishes short but with fruit. This was an easy drinking wine to drink while preparing for Christmas Eve dinner and snacking on treats. Crowd liked it. A nice intro wine in the ripasso style from Veneto.
