Vintages Wine Panel: This intriguing new wine from the renowned Tommasi family is built around the classic Valpolicella grape, Corvina, with the lesser-seen indigenous Oseleta variety. The partial drying of the grapes intensifies the flavour and aromas. The wine offers handsomely focused red berry, cherry and cinnamon spice aromas. Fruity, spicy, crisp and round on the palate with gentle tannins and a medium-long, berry-rich finish. My note: Lots of mouth-watering acidity for food here with rich, dark red fruit aromas and some toasty oak. Very savoury and delicious. Different and fascinating. Great for the barbecue.

Corvina food pairings: barbecued ribs, braised lamb.
