Reviews and Ratings

Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Full flavour of dark berry and spice. Medium spicy finish.
A good value wine
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The robe is a medium-dark ruby with a clear edge. Medium intensity aromas of dark cherries and plums, followed with minty herbs, eucalyptus, some cigar smoke, and a bit of spice. Medium body. The palate entry of juicy of black plums, followed with a rush of watery acidity that lasts long and reveals secondary flavours of smoke, spices, and, interestingly, a feint burnt caramel chocolate finish. Score 89. (S.Segard, Reviewed March 27, 2017)
Cedar underbrush, blackberry and cassis are the hallmarks of this juicy, ripe and well-structured Cabernet Sauvignon from California. Tom Gore (2014) is super great value here under $20. Drink now and for the next four years. - Community Wine Reviews
