Wow, zesty on the nose with lemon peel, lime blossom and dried herbs aromas, this bone-dry Sauvignon Blanc is so juicy with ripe nectarine, gooseberry, tropical fruit, grapefruit and fine herb flavours on the palate. Chill and enjoy with mixed green salads and brunch dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: seared scallops, pan-roasted shellfish or mussels.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great balance and tons of flavour. Aromas of lemon-lime, green herbs, orange blossom and a hint of gooseberry. Light bodied, zesty and vibrant on the palate, with a sightly creamy texture, tons of citrus and herbaceous notes and a clean finish. Enjoy with fresh seafood or green vegetable dishes.
Thornbury 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant with white nectarine, gooseberry, fine herb, pineapple and lemon-lime zest flavours on the palate - a perfect match for vegetarian dishes and oysters. Wine grapes were sourced from the Wairu and Awatere Valleys. Always a crowd-pleaser. - Community Wine Reviews
