Thirty Bench Winemaker's Blend 2016 is a flavoursome 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot sourced from the Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region and produced by winemaker, Emma Garner. Deep garnet in the glass with ripe black cherry, black currant, earthy violets and smoky oak spice aromas on the nose. This is a medium-plus-bodied red, lovely rich on the palate with black cherry, cake spice and mocha flavours. Enjoy with grilled beef and aged Canadian cheddar. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
