Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a fruity, medium bodied wine. It is a great example of a merlot from Washington state and for that deserves full marks.
On the nose there are sweet red cherries and ripe plums. A wonderful sweet dough note like danish cinamon buns followed by floral notes of orange blossom.
On the palate there are fruits of cherries, logan berries and cooked plums. A herbal note of rosemary steps forward and then a bitter sweet note of tobacco leaves. Spice of cloves and anise are present with delicious notes of chocolate wrapped in vanilla. There are velvety tannins and a silky finish.
A perfect pairing to have with duck, veal or pork. Also creamy cheeses but better yet a game pie served with a big dollop of mash, fresh greens and gravy!
Bottoms up!
