The Foreign Affair Dream 2020 is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and juicy red wine blend of mostly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes added to the mix. The wine is produced partially in the Appassimento style and spends 18 months in French and American oak barrels (25% new). You can count on rich and lush dark berry, cassis, dark cherry, anise, cedar brush and toasty oak spice flavours balanced with brilliant acidity on the palate. Drink or hold, enjoy it with a meat-lover's pizza or a Bistecca alla Fiorentina.

Food pairings: smoky game burgers, beef steak, rack of lamb, smoked cheeses.

The Foreign Affair Dream 2020 is a dry, medium-plus-bodied and juicy red wine blend of mostly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes in support. Made partially in the Appassimento blend style with half the Cabernet Franc grapes being dried prior to fermentation, the wine is rich, concentrated and elegant with a mouthful of cassis, dark cherry, anise and cedar brush spice with plenty of fresh acidity for food and velvety cocoa-textured tannins. The wine spent 18 months in French and American oak barrels (25% new). Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
